They will be having more frequent meetings as they are setting up finances for a new unit of development for the next communities to start. Hope to see you there!

For those that have not signed the petition and/or have not 'opted-in' on the email updates there...

Subject: RE: Request for Traffic Light Approval at US41 and Corradino/Galleria

Mr. Johnston,

The department understands your urgency for a traffic signal at the in US 41 at Corradino Blvd. According to the developers’ development order, they are responsible for the traffic signal warrant analysis and ultimately the design and construction of the signal at this location when it is warranted. Keep in mind that the department’s approval of a signal at this location is dependent upon the intersection meeting the signal warrants outlined in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). There are certain thresholds that have to be met in order for a signal to be approved. According to the MUTCD these thresholds include volume, crashes and delay. I recently spoke with the developer and the developer’s consultant for the Grand Paradiso development located on the north side of US 41. They both assured me that a traffic study will be submitted to us for our review for approval of a signal at this intersection very soon. I should be receiving a report sometime in April.

Should you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,
